The PeopleMed team has more than sixteen years of experience with Haemonetics' products and services. We are committed to continuous improvement and personal advancement as evidenced by our specialty certifications, continuing education advancements and certifications in quality auditing. We deliver knowledge and best-practice solutions in blood industry methods, processes, regulations and organizational operations. All PeopleMed resources are current or former AABB assessors, prominent public speakers, published authors and industry-recognized subject matter experts in transfusion medicine.
The PeopleMed team designed and implemented an innovative series of methods and processes to provide more thorough, risk-based validation, simplify and trace validation documentation and reduce the time required to validate. This advanced process ultimately allows customers to go-live more quickly and at reduced cost compared to validations performed in-house.
Noah Bentley, MS, MT(ASCP)SBB
Senior Director, Validation Services
Noah is the Senior Director of Validation Services for PeopleMed, a wholly owned subsidiary of Haemonetics Corporation. Noah brings with him a unique understanding of the blood bank industry aligned with technical knowledge of blood bank software development and implementation. With more than a decade of laboratory experience, Noah has held positions in hospital transfusion services as well as blood donor centers. Before joining Haemonetics, Noah was the Technical Director and FDA-Responsible Head at the Blood Bank of Alaska.
Noah received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Louisville. He later earned a Master of Science in Transfusion Medicine from the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati and trained as a Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) at the Hoxworth Blood Center.
During his twelve-year tenure with Haemonetics, Noah has had a number of diverse roles, including responsibilities for Product Management, Research & Development, Client Support and Marketing. Noah is currently responsible for leading the PeopleMed business unit.
Marnee McLeran, MT(ASCP)SBB, CQA(ASQ)
Validation Analyst
Marnee’s career in the blood bank industry includes hospital as well as reference laboratory experience. She has published several articles for the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and had an integral role in the development of the learning materials for the University of Texas Medical Branch SBB program. Marnee has served as an assessor with AABB for transfusion services and reference laboratories. Recognizing the importance that quality systems play in the laboratory, she earned her Quality Auditor, CQA(ASQ) certification in 2003.
Bob Kindred, MT(ASCP), CQA(ASQ)
Validation Analyst
Bob has many years of experience as a vendor representative in the blood donor center environment and as a technologist in hospital transfusion services. Prior to joining PeopleMed, he was the primary technical support contact for a line of immunohematology products and analyzers used extensively to process blood donations. Bob completed his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Bob’s unique understanding of analyzers and instruments as well as their communication with information systems, including those manufactured by Haemonetics Corporation, uniquely qualifies him as a core subject matter expert on the PeopleMed team.
Dave Marshall, MT(ASCP)
Validation Analyst
Dave has worked at Haemonetics since 2006. He has more than ten years of experience in large transfusion services at Level I and Level II trauma centers. In addition, he has 7 years of specific experience as a support specialist for complex automated blood banking instruments. Dave has received awards for his service and dedication to the blood banking industry, including a special award for providing detailed help troubleshooting blood bank analyzers. Dave has helped to bring newly designed blood banking instruments to market. He also has extensive experience in analyzer validation, authoring regulated documentation, as well as conducting and monitoring field trials for data collection and regulatory submissions. Dave has authored, edited and finalized FDA-regulated package inserts, trained users for regulatory field trials and created and packaged submissions to FDA for 510k clearance. Dave brings a vast wealth of experience and credibility for customers who rely on PeopleMed for validation help, regulatory consulting and technical problem solving in their blood banks.
